No-Nonsense by Motorcycle:
The Rider's Guide Series Honest, researched advice for British bikers touring Europe.
Most travel guides give motorcyclists a paragraph.
These give you the whole book.
The No-Nonsense series is written for Motorcycle riders who want to tour Europe on two wheels and would rather know the rules before the ferry than find them out from a roadside fine.
Each guide is built the same way, with 45 chapters in six parts, so once you've used one you can find your way around all of them.
Every guide covers:
-
The documents, insurance and equipment you need, checked against current official sources
-
The country's road rules explained properly, including the ones that catch out visiting riders
-
Region-by-region routes and a shortlist of the country's legendary roads, with sample itineraries
-
Riding technique for local conditions, from mountain hairpins to wildlife and weather
-
Food, where to stay, culture and the best time to go
-
A pre-departure checklist, a rider's phrasebook, road signs and emergency contacts

Cliff Eddleston spent years working within Formula 1 teams before a lifelong love of motorbikes brought him to Spain. In 2016 he and his wife Zoe founded Biking Abroad, which runs all-inclusive guided motorcycle holidays from Finca Bonavista Moto in the hills above Valencia. 10 years later we still have the passion and drive, winning busines awards 3 years running.
